Retail space on Park Street welcomes Mrs Potts Chocolate House
Fit-out works at 50 Park Street have begun this week, ready for the retail space to welcome it’s new tenant, Mrs Potts Chocolate House, in the next coming weeks.
50 Park Street is most famously known for its pioneering project late last summer, where ready- to-go modular homes were lifted into the shell of the 1950’s building. Previously a dilapidated building, 50 Park Street was purchased by Urban Creation who carried out this method, believed to be the first in the UK.
Now the bottom floor retail space of this building will become home to Mrs Potts Chocolate House, who after 3 years, will be moving from their current home at number 20 Park Street.
“On 16 September 2017 we opened our first Mrs Potts Chocolate House in Bristol. We were overwhelmed by the customer response and have grown a lot since then, adding a new store in Bath.
We have now outgrown our Bristol home at 20 Park St and realised we needed to move to bigger premises to handle the increased demand. Fortunately we have secured a bigger and better location that is on one level (no stairs!) that will allow us to seat more customers and offer more menu items. We are excited to be moving to our new home on Park St, number 50, just a short walk up the hill!” said Michael Potts, one of the owners of Mrs Potts Chocolate House.
Mrs Potts Chocolate House is an independent family run business that is owned by Michael and Jennifer Potts, along with their daughter Amelia Pocock. Serving a selection of chocolate inspired desserts, hot chocolates, milkshakes coffee and tea, Mrs Potts Chocolate House has been a firm favourite as one of the city’s local eateries for many years.
Urban Creation is a well known local property developers, specialising in serviced apartments and student accommodation covering the Clifton and Park Street area of the city.
