Works to renovate the 1970s building on Apsley Road have begun with a view to transform the existing space and turn it into high quality flats and studios as part of a rolling programme of improvements.
The first apartment is complete and already let and two others are set to be finished by the end of the month. The one-bed and studio apartments will be entirely refurbished and modernised in line with the current environmental standards to offer stylish homes to let in the private market.
Jonathan Brecknell, director at Urban Creation, said: “Bristol is scattered with hidden property gems which are often overlooked, though they offer huge potential and Alison Court is certainly no exception. Ideally located close to Whiteladies road and the Downs, the building offers great promise. Our plan is to completely remodel the existing accommodation to make the most of the existing spaces and bring out their full potential.”
Future plans also include substantially upgrading the external appearance of Alison Court and outdoor spaces to bring the building into harmony with its iconic Clifton surroundings.
